Lotus develops green engine technology

Dodge Charger hid kits dash kits - necessary things. A new project to develop a more environmentally friendly, fuel efficient engine has been announced by Lotus Engineering.

Dubbed OMNIVORE, the research engine project is a collaboration between Lotus Engineering, Jaguar Cars Ltd and Queen’s University Belfast.

Focussing on renewable bio fuels and alcohol use the OMNIVORE concept will use novel engine architecture to achieve high thermal efficiency.

Lotus Engineering is undertaking a design study and build of a single cylinder research engine that is due for completion in January 2009.

With an innovative variable compression ratio system and two-stroke operating cycle with direct injection, the OMNIVORE engine will be ideally suited to flex-fuel operation.

Geraint Castleton-White, Head of Powertrain at Lotus Engineering said: “The requirement to operate on gasoline in today’s flex-fuel engines limits their thermal efficiency when operating on alcohol fuels.”

He adds: “This single-cylinder research engine will investigate a highly thermal efficient combustion system that optimises engine performance to fully exploit the properties of both gasoline and alcohol fuels and maximise efficiency.”

The project is sponsored by DEFRA (Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs), the OMNIVORE engine research aiming to help ease the transition from today’s fossil fuels to sustainable synthetic fuels of the future. Dodge Charger hid kits dash kits - necessary things.

2007 Dodge Charger Vehicle Overview.

Dodge charger dash kits.  So what if it’s got four doors? The 2007 Dodge Charger breaks through the pack of bland midsize sedans with its good looks, available high-performance models, roomy interior and available all-wheel drive. Pros. Sports car performance with sedan functionality, firm handling, heady power from SRT8 model, reasonable price.

Before we begin, know that our goal is to give you as much useful information as we can fit on our page.

Cons. severe curtail stress, some low-grade interior plastics, low IIHS bank-influence collapse-hardship results, sedan body method still causes controversy.

What’s New for 2007? As it was an all-new meansl last year, the mare receives only junior changes this year. A basis-quantity 2.7-liter V6 engine joins the schedule, and there are now all-wheel-drive variants of all reduce quantitys excepting the high-performance SRT8. For the SRT8, there’s a newly voluntary rear-seat DVD entertainment technique with a premium sound technique. 2007 duck mare Vehicle Overview. Introduction. NASCAR, Hazzard Country…been there, done that.

A year after duck reintroduced the — gasp! — mare name, the naysayers have left home as the vehicle has proven itperson to be a very competent, refined and fun annoy. Based on the same platform as the Chrysler 300 and duck Magnum, the mare offers a also roomy interior and flatten annoy. And with big engine upgrades and an available mega-high-performance SRT8 meansl, the mare is a important alternative to many luxury sports sedans that expense almost twofold as greatly. For 2007, the duck mare now comes with a 2.7-liter V6 as its basis engine. Frankly, we think this engine is too puny given the mare’s performance credentials.

To understand the next part of this article, you need to have a clear grasp of the material that has already been presented to you.

Better power plants are the car’s free superiors, the 3.5-liter V6 and the 5.7-liter V8. The last comes with multi-displacement technology that shuts down four of the eight cylinders when rounded power is not wanted, to vaguely upgrade fuel reduced. The high-performance SRT8 is again available this year, and comes with a monster 6.1-liter V8. With 425 horsepower, it muscles its way to a 0-60-mph time under 6 moments, which is remarkable for such a important car. general, we’re fond of the 2007 duck mare. While a auto body method would have been a trivial nod to the bygone, you can’t beat a sedan with a usable interior and loads of ordinary skin. Dodge charger dash kits.

Review: 2006 Dodge Charger

Dodge Charger hid kits dash kits. It’s funny. The second we looked at the Dodge Magnum, we knew we didn’t like it. But the second we looked at the Dodge Charger… we knew we loved it and knew it would sell like hotcakes. The funny part? The two cars are so similar it’s funny we wouldn’t like both or hate both. Perhaps we were just worried about being bullied by the kind of people (guys) that would buy a hot-rod station wagon (we’ll ask our shrink and let you know).

Before we get to the reviews, we want to mention Tom Lankard (New Car Test Drive) who brought up a good point (we’re paraphrasing): Is the new Charger just trying to use the name of a classic to get sales… like the current GTO?The SE is so reasonably priced it’s hard to believe that such amenities as cruise control, a CD player, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, remote keyless entry, air conditioning and power door locks/mirrors/windows are standard. …

The cabin is quiet, the seats comfortable, and the ride is nicely damped for highway cruising. … Only a handful of new vehicles will become classics 40 years from now. The 2006 Charger definitely is on that short list.
Every Charger we drove exhibits plenty of power and very tasty road manners. Steering is ultra-precise; the five-speed AutoStick automatic transmission (there are no manual transmissions offered) downshifts promptly and does not require crushing the floorboard to downshift. … …Charger’s lineup fits most households and budgets. It seats five in comfort and that’s five American adults. Ride and handling, other than light steering, is up to the quality of European imports. Style-wise, it’s hard to identify a better looking car. Interiors, while handsome, are light on luxury, heavy on functional design.
